We work with a range of stakeholders to ensure our services are delivered in a caring and clinically sound manner. Call today for more information.
Residents
We are committed to a tenants centred approach to services. Each scheme has a two weekly residents forum where residents have a voice, in order that they can make a valuable contribution to how each scheme is run. This enables us to continuously evaluate and improve the services we provide.
The registered manager/provider also conducts a weekly consultation with each resident to receive feedback about care/support provided or about any housing related issues.
Our Regulators, the Care Qualities Commission (CQC) also conducts an annual quality survey prior to each inspection of the service.
Social Services
We will provide a best value service that is innovative, of best quality and which works in partnership with social services and commissioners of all our placing authorities to provide a service that meets the complex needs of service users.
CMHT
We will operate under the Care Programme Approach. All clients will be allocated a key-worker who will assist the CMHT Care Co-ordinator in discharging the Care Co-ordinator role.
Our staff will liaise with CMHT to carry our risk assessments, CPA care planning, community placement reviews, book CPA when required, liaise with other agencies on behalf of the Care Co-ordinator and carry monthly support plan evaluation.
GP/Primary Care
We will liaise with GP practice to manage and promote the wellbeing of our clients in a dignified manner. We will work with district nurses to manage the nursing needs of tenants.
We will work with the nurse practitioner to provide effective management of chronic illnesses, smoking cessation, poor diet, drug and alcohol related illnesses, obesity and incontinence.
Each client will have an annual physical health assessment and a monthly malnutrition screening using the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST Tool).

Capital Volunteering
Capital Volunteering aims to tackle the issues of mental health and social exclusion, through volunteering. It does this by enabling existing organisations to increase the number and range of supported volunteering opportunities for people with serious mental health problems, thereby increasing confidence, skills, social networks and employability. The project also will increase the number of people volunteering with and alongside mental health service users as social sponsors or buddies or providing other meaningful activities.
The project is being funded by the Treasury and the Department of Health through the Invest to Save Budget, which aims to create sustainable improvements in the capacity to deliver public services in a more joined up manner. The progress of the Havering Capital Volunteering project will be monitored through the LIT or Mental Health Partnership Board.
